The vaccination campaign for emptying workers ran over several weeks in AMAA's intervention districts, in coordination with the health authorities and the municipalities involved.
Teams combined three complementary components: vaccination of registered workers, distribution of personal protective equipment, and practical workshops on hygiene and occupational safety.
Partner operators report fewer infection-related work stoppages. A health registry was set up to track booster doses.
