New institutional partnership for sanitation

AMAA has signed a technical cooperation agreement to strengthen faecal sludge management in densely populated urban areas.

The agreement provides for support in assessing discharge sites, assistance to private operators, and the production of field data to inform public decisions.

The first joint activities focus on mapping sludge flows and training municipal agents responsible for oversight.
